Riz Ahmed, the British-Pakistani actor who garnered acclaim for his lead role in HBO's The Night Of, is set on helping Syrian refugees in a big way. Ahmed, who penned an essay for The Guardian in September about his experiences being typecast as a terrorist, has been touting his CrowdRise campaign to help Syrian refugees, which hit its goal of $150,000 on Friday. The sky is the limit in Hollywood for Ahmed, who also starred in Jason Bourne and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
