KARACHI: Pak Sarzameen Party chairman Mustafa Kamal on Sunday revealed that around three hundred people from various political parties including the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) have joined the party.
The PSP chairman addressing a press conference said there are no contradictions in their statements, and that people started to come out and have accepted them for the sake of their future generations.
“A huge flood of people is coming to us, almost three hundred people including 207 centre-level office holders have joined us,” he said. “Those have also joined us who were left in a state of oblivion.”
Kamal said that three councilors of the MQM joined the party in the last six days, as well as four sector in-charges, 14 sector members, 33 unit in-charges, 37 joint unit in-charges, 106 committees members, a former union council nazim and other members.
Apart from that, he revealed that 15 office-holders from the Sunni Tehreek, 14 from the Pakistan Peoples Party, six each from Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) and Paasbaan, five from the MQM- Haqqiqi, four each from the Pakistan Muslim League – Functional (PML-F) and Awami Muslim League (AML), and two members from the All-Pakistan Muslim League (APML) have joined the party.
