Aa Gaya Hero, previously titled Abhinay Chakra, is an upcoming Bollywood action comedy film directed by Dipankar Senapati, and produced by Govinda. It features Govinda and former Mrs. World Richa Sharma in the lead roles, along with Ashutosh Rana, Murali Sharma, Makarand Deshpande and Harish Kumar in supporting roles. The film was earlier scheduled to release on 29 August 2014, but now it has been postponed to be released on 3 March 2017.[1]
The film's production commenced in 2013 under the banner of Mangal Tara Films. Film was started in 2014 and completed in 29 days but govinda did not like the subject ,so he started writing a new story and the story got completed in 2016. The film is now slated to release on 3 March 2017.[2] The soundtrack is composed by Arghya, Shamir. In April 2014, Govinda unveiled the first look of Abhinay Chakra at 15th IIFA Awards in United States.[3]
According to Govinda, "When the director Dipankar Senapati narrated the subject to me, I felt I had to do it. It's something I've never done before. I wanted to play this idealistic cop. And I wanted to complete the film in one schedule which we did successfully."
