Outer-space was a busy place in the last week of 2016. #MannequinChallenge is now trending as astronauts aboard the International Space Station posed in microgravity for the Instagram trend. The Hubble Telescope shed new light on a “Megamaser” galaxy, which emits microwaves instead of visible light. The satellite’s infrared camera revealed a newly discovered black hole, 100 times the size of our sun. In our own galaxy, Canada’s northern lights shined bright for Christmas.
