Disney just released a video sneak peak of its Avatar-inspired theme park.Avatar Land has been a three-year-long project of Disney Imagineers and James Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment. It will include rides like the Na’vi River Journey, which will take guests through one of Pandora’s bioluminescent forests, and the Mountain Banshee, a “flight” on a bird-like creature. The park was designed as an immersive experience that includes floating mountains, life-like animatronics and illuminated plants.The long-awaited addition to Disney World’s Animal Kingdom will open in the summer of 2017.The post Disney Unveils Avatar Land appeared first on Vocativ.
