Tom Brady gets emotional after answering questions about his dad
Tom Brady's emotions hit him on Monday during Super Bowl Opening Night at Minute Maid Park in Houston.
Just hours after saying that he banned his father, Tom Brady Sr., from speaking to the media after he ripped Roger Goodell for how he treated his son during Deflategate, the quarterback was asked if his dad speaks for him.
Brady started to answer illustrating that his father represents his own feels and then in the midst of his explanation seemingly got choked up and ended his answer.
When speaking with WEEI's Kirk and Callahan earlier on Monday morning, Brady went on to say that his father has been his best friend his entire life and that he is his No. 1 supporter.
The quarterback doubled down on the comments during his time with the media on Monday night when a little boy asked who Brady's hero was. The quarterback grew emotional in that answer as well.
"Who is my hero?" responded Brady. "Well, I think my dad is my hero because he is someone I look up to everyday."
