On Monday morning, Donald Trump tweeted an update to his plans for announcing his Supreme Court Justice nominee.
He wrote, “I have made my decision on who I will nominate for The United States Supreme Court. It will be announced live on Tuesday at 8:00 P.M. (W.H.)”
A few days ago, ABC News reported there is a leading candidate for the job citing inside sources.
He is 49-year-old Judge Neil Gorsuch who currently presides over the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Gorsuch has been compared to the late Justice Antonin Scalia, whose seat he would be filling, in terms of originalism, or taking the Constitution as it was written, and a colorful writing style.
