Monica Crowley announced Monday that she would leave her post as senior director of strategic communications at the National Security Council amid multiple allegations of plagiarism. “I greatly appreciate being asked to be part of President-elect Trump’s team and I will continue to enthusiastically support him and his agenda for American renewal,” The allegations are in regards to a 2012 book Crowley wrote and a dissertation she wrote at Columbia University. The book's publisher said it would stop selling copies until Crowley addresses the claims.
