An ice-covered lake in southern Finland has been transformed into a spinning carousel by an inventor.
Using a chainsaw and other tools, Finnish inventor Janne Kapylehto cut a large circle out of ice covering a lake in Lohja.
It spins in circular motion like a carousel fairground ride.
The magical "ice carousel" was inspired by a smaller version the inventor saw on YouTube.
His friends can be seen making the most of his sturdy invention, lighting a fire to cook food and setting up a table and chairs to sit and enjoy the wintry surroundings.
Kapylehto said he plans to build a bigger replica of his ice carousel in his hometown of Helsinki on Monday (January 16), complete with a sauna.
He expected around 50 people to help him build the 50-metre spinning circle in the Finnish capital.
