Today we remember Rosa Luxemburg a Polish-born writer and socialist revolutionary was one of the most original minds of the early twentieth century and an implacable foe of imperialist wars.
Assassinated in 1919, she remains an inspiring example of principled activism and her revolutionary thought continues to inform and inspire social and political movements today.
