President-elect's pick for CIA director Mike Pompeo is to meet with the Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday. The meeting comes only a day after Trump suggested U.S. intelligence "leaked" fake news related to his ties in Russia. Pompeo, a Republican senator from Kansas, would lead the intelligence agency that has clashed numerous times with Trump. Pompeo would work alongside the CIA, FBI, and National Security Agency, which prepared the briefing regarding Russian hacking in the election.
