Heavy snowfall in the Oregon city of Medford came close to breaking a century-long record on January 4, according to the National Weather Service.
Around 8.3 inches of snow was recorded at the city’s airport during a snowstorm on January 4, coming close to 1919’s record of 11 inches of snowfall in a day.
