Commuters Stream Out of Waterloo Station's Main Entrance

Commuters were forced to seek alternative means of transport on January 9 after strike action almost brought the London Underground to a standstill.

In video uploaded to YouTube, crowds can be seen flooding out of Waterloo Station in south London.


Members of the RMT and Transport Salaried Staffs’ Association (TSSA) unions are striking in protest at plans to close ticket offices on the London Underground.
