Venezuela: Nicolas Maduro announces 50 percent minimum wage increase

Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro has announced a 50 percent rise in the minimum wage. And a similar boost for pensions.
The move is aimed at helping public workers and others including the police and armed forces.
