Facebook just announced their new head of news partnerships Campbell Brown, who is the founder of a nonprofit educational news site. Brown previously worked as a journalist for NBC News and CNN, and intends to help Facebook expand their journalism. Brown also founded the nonprofit news organization called The Seventy Four, which is dedicated to coverage of education in the U.S. Facebook previously brought on Liz Heron from the Huffington Post and Dan Fletcher from Time to join their team.
