Peking duck, carved table-side from start to finish! Peking Duck is a famous duck dish from Beijing that has been prepared since the imperial era. The meat is prized for its thin, crisp skin, with authentic versions of the dish serving mostly the skin and little meat. You can't visit the city without eating it.

At Siji Minfu and other traditional establishments, an entire duck is carved table-side, with the choicest cuts meticulously arranged onto a plate. To begin, skin is served dipped in sugar and garlic sauce and eaten on its own. The rest is then eaten with steamed pancakes, spring onions and sweet bean sauce. Several vegetable dishes are provided to accompany the meat, typically cucumber sticks.
