Experience Squid Fishing and have squish sashimi (raw) at Hakodate Morning Fish Market in Hokkaido. The way the chef quickly prepares squid is worth seeing.
The squid will served fresh or served still wiggling.
The squids swimming around the blue fish tanks. You can catch it with a rod with the hook at the end. Then a women chef will prepare squid sashimi (raw) for you. This is one of the most popular activity for tourist in Hakodate.
Access : 5 minutes walk from JR Hakodate station
Open hour : 6:00 am - 1:30 pm (or when squid are all sold out). Closed on the 3rd Wednesday of the month between January and April, in late May, and during the New Year holidays. Also closed when it is rough seas.
