After hearing of Russian president Vladimir Putin's decision not to retaliate against the U.S. over the expulsion of 35 Russian spies, President-elect Donald Trump took to Twitter to comment on the matter. Putin said he'd wait for Trump, who takes office on Jan. 20, before considering taking any action against the U.S. Outgoing president Barack Obama announced the expulsions of the 35 spies Thursday, as well as sanctions on two Russian intelligence agencies over their involvement in hacking political groups in the Nov. 8 U.S. presidential election. The CIA and overall intelligence community believes the cyber attacks were conducted in order to help Trump land a victory.
