Abhay Deol said that he had expected a controversy to rise as far as this song was concerned because it has become a fashion to protest against a song or a film on the eve of its release. Shekhar and dibakar banerjee too spoke on the issue and the latter said that he was pleased that the protestors chose to protest in a legal and law abiding manner.
