A day ago, it had been reported that John Abraham asked Shootout At Wadala director Sanjay Gupta to drop Bipasha Basu from the movie after she made remarks hinting at infidelity on part of the hunky actor during their relationship. However, it seems that this is not true and John is quite miffed about such reports doing the rounds. A source close to the actor revealed that John has always maintained his silence over his break-up with Bipasha and did not even comment on the issue when Basu accused him of cheating on her. However, this news that he was instrumental in getting Bipasha thrown out of the movie has left him fuming. On his part, director Sanjay Gupta claimed that neither he nor Ekta Kapoor ever claimed that Bipasha was a part of the film, so there is no question of her being thrown out of the film at all. Gupta further added that John has always been professional about his work and has never interfered with the casting process of the film. Shootout At Wadala, which also stars Anil Kapoor, Manoj Bajpayee, Sonu Sood and Tusshar Kapoor dramatizes the real life incident of the Manya Surve encounter, which is the first ever recorded encounter in the history of the Mumbai Police.
