TURN CC ON!

I haven't subbed something in a long time, but after watching this, I felt a huge urge to translate this.

This is from Tribe of Hip Hop on JTBC, about the Sewol Ferry accident.

In various parts of the lyrics, it mentions a "them" or "their cold hearts" - this is referring to the very corrupt government of South Korea. You have probably heard of the impeachment of South Korea's president - she was corrupt, but it's not just her, it's a majority of the government, which is why many members of the government are under investigation right now. It's been found out recently that the Sewol Ferry accident may have been caused by other means by the government, and hastily covered up. This is what the song is referring to in several places.

Yellow ribbons was the sign that people used to commemorate and remember the people who were lost in the accident. Yellow ribbons previously signified waiting for someone to come home.

The name of the boat, "Sewol," ironically means "time" - which Cheetah uses as a wordplay many times in the song, including the chorus. "Sewol Ferry, we will not forget you in the passing time/sewol"

The song played at the beginning is Lucid Fall's Still There, Still Here.
