A number of vehicles were involved in a pile-up on the A40 near Witney on December 28, caused in part by foggy conditions.
Video captured by Geoffrey Ashcroft shows a car slamming into the back of a stationary vehicle.
According to reports, at least one person was killed.
Six cars were seriously damaged in the crash, and up to 15 others were also involved.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said that “officers are at the scene along with the fire and rescue services. A number of people are believed to have been injured. Road closures are currently in place and drivers are advised to avoid the area.” Credit: YouTube/Geoff Ashcroft via Storyful
