Obama edges Trump as 'most admired' man in America

President Obama will leave office as the most admired man in America — while Donald Trump clinched the second spot, according to Gallup's annual survey. Americans were asked, “What man that you have heard or read about, living today in any part of the world, do you admire most?” 22 percent of Americans named Obama for the ninth year in a row. 15 percent named the president-elect and Pope Francis landed in third place. However, the poll states, 8 percent of respondents to the poll name a friend or relative as the person they most admired, while 23 percent had no opinion. Among women, Hillary Clinton remains the most admired woman in the country for the 21st time.
