Turkey and Syria have reportedly agreed on the terms of the ceasefire draft in Syria, according to Turkish news agency Anadolu. The report said that the two countries are working together to bring the ceasefire in effect at midnight. If the ceasefire is successful, the government and opposition forces will enter political negotiations led by Ankara and Moscow. Russia has been the closest ally to Syrian president Bashar al-Assad and has carried out airstrikes against rebel-held areas since 2015.
