Director Ankush Bhatt revealed that the film is set against the backdrop of the dance bars in Mumbai and that the film has tried to explore the dark underbelly of the city. Sachiin Joshi spoke about his character and said that he plays the role of a young and maverick cop, who doesn't always play by the rules as he knows that going by the book tends to delay the justice system. Vimala Raman added that she will be seen playing the role of a journalist in the film.
