In this short interview I talk to the Times sports journalist Oliver Kay about his book revealing the life and times of a talented young footballer who should have been a star for Manchester United. The player was called Adrian Doherty. He was part of the young side that included Ryan Giggs. The winger was expected to go on to play for the first team under Sir Alex Ferguson. But Doherty turned down a 5 year contract offered by Fergie. Why?
