Film promotions are getting more and more innovative with every passing day and the latest to join the bandwagon is the team of Rohan Sippy's upcoming laugh riot 'Nautanki Saala', which stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Kunaal Roy Kapur. The first look poster of the film was unveiled on Wednesday evening and the two actors recreated the famous suicide scene from 'Sholay' before unveiling the poster. Khurrana, who played the role of Jai from 'Sholay' was standing at the base of the big covered hoarding whereas Kapur was perched on the top of the hoarding, threatening to commit suicide. Finally, after much persuasion, Kunaal slid down the hoarding, thereby unveiling the poster in the process. Bhushan Kumar, the co-producer of the film said, "'Nautanki Saala' is a fun comic film and the launch of the first look had to be a nautanki. Our leads Ayushmann and Kunaal have done a fabulous job and our audiences will surely adore them in the film. It also being Rameshji's birthday today, Rohan and me just wanted to make his birthday celebrations more grand with the launch of our first poster."
The two actors had everyone in splits with their banter, which was joined in by Rohan Sippy and Ramesh Sippy. The film, a comedy about two men working as theatre artistes, is slated to release on April 12 this year.
