Thirty five states are suing British pharmaceutical company Reckitt Benckiser. The lawsuit, started by Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel, alleges that the company artificially inflated the price of "Suboxone," a drug used to wean addicts off of opioids. Reckitt and another company developed a slightly different version of the drug when its patent expired in 2009. The lawsuit contends that the company's actions have unfairly increased costs for people who need the drug.
