Cris Cyborg tested positive for a banned substance the United State Anti-Doping Agency revealed Thursday. The substance was found in an out-of-competition test administered on Dec. 5. Shortly after the announcement, Cyborg spoke with MMA Fighting. The Brazilian had been recovering from a disastrous weight cut for her UFC Fight Night 95 bout opposite Lina Lansberg. The Invicta FC featherweight champion failed a drug test in 2011 for stanozolol.
