Official events begin on Thursday, January 19 with a ‘Wreath Laying Ceremony’ at Arlington National Cemetery, reports WTOP.
That same day, a concert, which has been named the ‘Make America Great Again! Welcome Celebration,’ will be held at the Lincoln Memorial.
On Friday, January 20, the inaugural ceremony takes place, as does a parade and a number of balls, notes Politico.
A national prayer service is to be held on January 21 at the Washington National Cathedral.
Tom Barrack, the chairman of the Presidential Inaugural Committee, said of the upcoming events, “President-elect Trump is committed to unifying our country as we once again celebrate the foundation of our American system and the peaceful transfer of power.
