Here I'm testing the stopping abilities of the QuattroVelo equipped with rear disc brakes: I'm pulling a few stoppies (and a handbrake turn at the bottom of the slope) to see how effective the four brakes are.
The QV stops on a dime, and the brakes barely get warm. Using the rear brakes safely without locking the rear wheels takes some getting used to, but this is clearly much safer than ordinary velos with only two drum brakes at the front if you ride in hilly regions.
