Typical festive Halloween activities include trick-or-treating , attending costume parties, decorating, carving pumpkins into jack-o-lanterns, lighting bonfires, visiting haunted house attractions, playing pranks, telling scary stories, and watching horror films.\r
A jack-o-lantern is a carved pumpkin, or turnip, associated chiefly with the holiday of Halloween.\r

Jack is the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town and lives in a fantasy world based solely on the Halloween holiday.\r

His usual appearance is a skeleton dressed in a black pin-striped suit and a bow tie resembling a bat, but there are some points in which he dresses as a scarecrow with a pumpkin for a head. His last name is a play on skeleton. He has a pet ghost dog named Zero, who has a small glowing nose that looks like a jack-o-lantern. \r

He is respected and even idolized by the other residents for his role, but he has grown weary of celebrating the same holiday endlessly and is depressed about it.
