This year marks the fortieth anniversary of his breakthrough album Oxyène, but French electronic music pioneer Jean Michel Jarre shows no signs of slowing down. To celebrate, 68-year-old Jarre, composed an entirely new album: Oxyène 3. Coming only months after the second installment of his Electronica project, Jarre's work ethic suggest that his best work is still ahead of him. “I hope so, it's the reason why I am on stage tonight. I consider music like a mirage in the desert. You're obsessed with the ideal piece of music and the more you think you're getting closer, it's not there.”
