Putin, Abe Agree to Joint Activities on Kuril Islands

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe may not have totally resolved the Kuril Islands dispute but have taken steps towards a solution by agreeing to joint economic activities there.
