China hot runner mold for plastic caps 16 cavities: injection mold for plastic cap of water bottles, beverage bottle, jerry cans, etc.
Hot runner advantages:
1 Shorter cycle time.
2 Less sink marks and under-filled parts
3 Design flexibility: Can locate the gate at many points on the part
4 Balanced melt flow.
But hot runner molds are much more expensive.
For most of simple and small parts, no need to make a hot runner mold to add extra cost, especially when the quantity is not large, as most of plastic in the runner can still be recycled and reground.
