Trump says his pick for ambassador to China often asks him not to ‘say anything bad about China’

During a speech in Hershey, Pa., Dec. 15, President-elect Donald Trump said that Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad (R), whom he has selected to be ambassador to China, often asks him not to “say anything bad about China.”
