NFL owners approve stadium lease between Chargers and Rams in LA

San Diego Chargers owner Dean Spanos isn't quite sure yet whether he wants to pack up and move his team to Los Angeles to share a new stadium with the Rams. After NFL owners approved a final tenant-lease between the teams Wednesday, Spanos said he will wait until the season is over to make a decision. The Chargers have until Jan. 15 to exercise the team's option to move to Los Angeles. NFL commissioner Roger Goodel has faced challenges trying to keep the Chargers in San Diego and recently increased loan funding from $200 to $300 million. There's not a stadium proposal on the table that we think addresses the long-term issues of the club that's in those communities. So we need to continue to work at it.
