In Southwestern France, a gathering of fish have figured out how to slaughter winged animals. As the River Tarn winds through the city of Albi, it contains a little rock island where pigeons assemble to clean and bathe. Furthermore, watching the island are European catfish—1 to 1.5 meters in length, and the biggest freshwater fish on the landmass. These specific catfish have taken to rushing out of the water, snatching a pigeon, and after that wriggling again into the water to swallow their prey. All the while, they briefly strand themselves ashore for a few moments.
