Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has met Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray at his residence in Mumbai.
The meeting, assumes significance as SRK's upcoming film "Raees", which features Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, is scheduled for a release next month.
To secure the smooth release of his film Raeesnext year, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly promised the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray that he won't work with Pakistani actors in the future .
Notably, the MNS has in the past objected to casting of Pakistani actors in Indian movies citing the neighbouring country's reported involvement in terrorist attacks in India.
The Bollywood superstar had previously run into trouble for the release of "My Name is Khan" in 2010, with Shiv Sena, opposing its screening then.
