Salman Khan, the entire film industry and his fans are waiting with bated breath for Wednesday, as a Mumbai Sessions Court will deliver its verdict on his 2002 hit-and-run case tomorrow and if convicted, then the Dabangg Khan will face a sentence of up to ten years in jail.
Salman has been charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder for allegedly drinking and driving and killing one person and injuring four pavement dwellers. This incident happened on September 28, 2002 and Additional Sessions judge D.W. Deshpande will pronounce his verdict on Wednesday.
While the prosecution claims that Salman was at the wheel, in his defense Salman said that he was not drunk and that his driver Ashok Singh was driving his Land Cruiser, when the accident took place.
Sources claim that approximately Rs. 230 crores are riding on the superstar, who is presently busy with his two upcoming projects- Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
