Deepika Padukone and her co-star Ranveer Singh have not left any stone unturned as far as the promotion of their upcoming movie 'Ram-Leela' is concerned. They are visiting TV shows to promote their film. Recently, Deepika and Ranveer appeared on the comedy show 'Comedy Nights with Kapil'. This show is a part of Colors entertainment channel. However, it was strange that the film 'Ram-Leela' was not promoted on another reality show 'Bigg Boss' which is also from Colors entertainment.
'Bigg Boss' is a very popular reality show which is hosted by none other than Salman Khan. Celebrities often appear on the show to promote their upcoming movies. Deepika Padukone, who has not yet worked with Salman Khan, has put a desire to work with the superstar. Under such a scenario, skipping Salman's show for promotions did not make sense.
Says a source, "Deepika has been expressing her desire to work with Salman Khan for a long time now. She was supposed to be part of the Sallu-starrer Kick. But according to the buzz, Deepika's closeness to Shah Rukh Khan had something with the decision of not including her in a Salman-starrer."
It seems that the cold war between Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan has engulfed Deepika's opportunity to work with Salman and so she was ignored.
However, a source close to Deepika says, "Deepika was not supposed to go for Bigg Boss. She was busy with her other commitments. Her promotion schedule does not include being part of Salman's show."
