Mexico's Popocatepetl Volcano Spews Lava as It Erupts

Mexico’s Popocatepetl volcano, dubbed “El Popo” by the locals, spewed lava and ash as it erupted throughout the night on November 29.

According to Mexico’s CENAPRED, or National Center for Disaster Prevention, the volcano spewed constantly, emitting water vapor, gases, ash and lava fragments from 8:47 pm on November 29 until 04:35 am on November 30.
