Several French media reports that David Hamilton, British photographer died in Paris after committing suicide, according to a police source quoted by Reuters.
His home neighbour found him unresponsive and alerted emergency services.
The 83-year-old Hamilton, whose works had appeared in upmarket fashion magazines, had recently denied reports that he had sexually assaulted some of his teenage models, so circumstances of his death are still unclear.
