A Canadian art historian has claimed to have found more than 60 unknown sketches which are said to be by Vincent Van Gogh. University of Toronto professor Bogomila Welsh-Ovcharov said the "lost" sketches are from the artist's time in the south of France. The Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam quickly rejected the possibility of such drawings and labeled them as "imitations." Welsh-Ovcharov accused the museum of being jealous, and told AFP "it was not the first time the Van Gogh Museum has got it wrong".
