I'm starting to feel like there's a cost to, uh, freedom which is that you've become independent and strong and liberated and you don't need a man but then the opposite that you get not so picky or particular about who you're willing to love because you don't want to settle because your life is so great that it gets harder and harder to find someone. You agree, yeah. So what do you think the answer is? Should you have cultivated a less interesting life for yourself? No. What is the answer? Tell me! What do you think! What's gonna happen to us?
Would you ever suggest them trying trying less hard to be successful in order to be more “marriable”. It’s impossible to do.
How was it about a woman would just work less hard at being successful and they’d just maybe be stupider no?
It's a habit for Chinese woman to work very hard. They just can’t help themselves. Really?
Is that sort of something women talk about, do you think, in real life? That they were that they wish sometimes that maybe “I should be simpler”?
I think in China, in our culture, the men don’t like the lady is not too much and independence. Men don't look up they dont look down.
Meaning they want.. when you say down that would imply less money-
Money.
Less brains-
Less education. Also family life, and also a job. So the men marry down here and woman marry up. So the first class woman and the last class man. See that’s in China.
Ugh! That’s bad.
You know, in China we say “It’s cold up here”. It is cold up here! Men can always look down but the first-class women can look up..it’s the sky. Nothing is there. It’s not good news.
One more country with no good news! Check it off my list.
