Drunk man jumps into river to 'test speed of police response'

Amusing footage of a "drunk" man being rescued after he jumped into a river apparently to test the "speed of police response" in China.

The video, captured in Nanning, Guangxi Province on October 4, shows firefighters rescuing a the joker who got into trouble in the water and needed hospital treatment.

According to local reports, the man allegedly made a bet with his mates over how quick the police would arrive on the scene if he jumped into the river.

The rescue actually took 40 minutes, but he was pulled out of the water successfully.

Fortunately, he was not badly injured at all.
