Passengers on a train at Dorchester South station in Dorset were forced to flee after an “electrical explosion” underneath one of the carriages. This dramatic video shows the sparks seen by passers-by.
According to reports, the sparks were caused by what is known as “electrical arcing,” an electrical breakdown of gas in equipment that powers the train.
