According to TMZ, the U.S. Coast Guard had received a request from her campaign for a two-minute display after the election results had been announced, but on Thursday, staffers are said to have notified the military branch that the plan would no longer be going forward. 
Tommy Galati, an official with the New York Police Department, has also been quoted as saying about Clinton campaign, “They do have a permit for fireworks, but at this point we believe the fireworks are canceled.” 
TMZ reports that no reason was given for the change and that Clinton staffers have yet to comment on the situation.
