A young mum was given an on-the-spot fine after she was spotted breastfeeding at the wheel during the morning rush hour.\r
\r
Miss Chen told traffic cops it was the only way to stop her young child from crying as he was hungry and needed a feed.\r
\r
She had first been spotted in traffic by the officers who saw her cradling the boy across her lap.\r
\r
He and a colleague weaved in and out of other cars to catch up with her but were shocked to find her breastfeeding.\r
\r
In bodycam footage recorded by one of the officers, the policeman can be heard saying: Breastfeeding a baby and not wearing a seatbelt while driving, this is very dangerous for you, the baby, and other drivers.\r
\r
Miss Chen, who was stopped in the city of Chongqing, tried to explain that the boy was sitting with a relative in the back, but became upset and needed comforting.\r
\r
Sh added that vehicles were moving more slowly during rush hour, so she thought it would be fine to breastfeed the baby.\r
\r
She was given a fine of 200 RMB, about £23, for the stunt, with officers releasing the footage in a bid to warn others against similar behaviour.
