Shocking footage has emerged from China of police shooting an escaped yak dead.
In the video, captured in Suining, Sichuan Province last Thursday, the animal can be seen running on a busy road, after it escaped from a transport vehicle.
Police later shot it dead in an alleyway.
According to local reports, one woman was charged by the wild yak and was badly injured, with at least a broken collarbone.
